Summer on the Land: What We're Up to This Season

Summer in Alabama means long days, heat that'll remind you you're alive, and a whole lot of work to get done on the land. Whether you're clearing brush before it gets out of hand, running fence lines, or finally getting around to that timber project you've been putting off, this is the season to get moving — and we're ready to move with you.

What We're Doing This Summer

Forestry mulching is one of the best investments you can make in your property this time of year. Before the undergrowth gets any thicker, our mulcher can clear brush, small trees, and overgrown fence lines — all while leaving the soil undisturbed and the chips right there on the ground as a natural ground cover. It's cleaner than a burn, faster than hand-clearing, and a whole lot better for your land long-term. We run forestry mulching at $190 per hour with a 4-hour minimum, and we offer a second-day half-price rate for bigger jobs. Transport is $300.

If you've got timber on your property, summer is a great time to turn those logs into usable lumber. Our portable sawmill comes to you — right on your land — and we can cut cypress, pine, white oak, and cedar into whatever dimensions you need. Whether you're building a barn, a cabin, a dock, or just want to get value out of trees you're already clearing, custom log sawing makes a lot of sense. There's nothing quite like building something with lumber cut from your own land.
